Established 18 years ago, the business began with a carefully curated collection of planters and decorative objects. Since then, it has evolved into a comprehensive outdoor lifestyle brand. Today, our collections now include water features, lighting, sculpture, furniture and an extensive range of distinctive garden accessories.

Every piece is handmade in our dedicated European factory, ensuring exceptional quality and craftsmanship, with stock held and readily available in the UK. With our own in-house design team and production facility, we offer a fully bespoke service - creating custom pieces in our signature style to suit individual spaces and architectural projects.

Everything we create is crafted from heavy-gauge steel to ensure outstanding strength, longevity and structural integrity. Each piece is hot-dip galvanised, bonding molten zinc to the steel to provide superior protection against corrosion and the elements. Finally, every item is meticulously hand-finished to achieve the rich, characterful appearance of traditional lead, designed to weather beautifully over time into a soft, natural patina.

Originally an exclusive direct-to-consumer brand, A Place in the Garden now collaborates with high-end retailers and leading garden designers, supplying prestigious residential and commercial projects across the UK. Our curated show garden in Cowfold, West Sussex, brings our collections to life, showcasing the scale, finish and presence of our pieces in a real setting. Visits are by appointment only.
